Technology is redefining how we live. We talk to virtual assistants, search with our voices, and learn with digital platforms. For all this to happen in Basque, AI needs to have “learned” from billions of real examples. That is the great digital library that does not yet exist.
Our mission is to create it. And we are doing it today.
What will it be like? Imagine a doctor’s appointment where an assistant understands you perfectly. A trial transcribed instantly. Or giving voice commands in a factory. It’s not science fiction. It’s Basque integrated into the technology that is already transforming the world.

We guarantee that Basque is a real option, not an extra, in all digital environments. That our society can decide, create, and live in its own language.

We automate slow and costly processes (translation, transcription) so that companies, hospitals, and administrations can be more agile and competitive when serving in Basque.

We generate specialized activity and position the Basque Country as a benchmark in language technologies. Basque becomes a strategic asset.

We create the digital corpus: we compile millions of real, diverse, high-quality texts and audio files. We label them rigorously so that machines can "understand" them.
With this corpus, we develop open-source AI models in Basque, ready for use by technology.
We make these resources available to companies, developers, and institutions to create real applications that serve us all.

Euskorpora is not an isolated project. It is a meeting point where talent, industry, and technology come together for a common goal.
